Housing and Support Solutions is committed to a policy of fair housing within the objectives of the project, to ensure that everyone has access to it’s accommodation and support services and they are treated equally when they become tenants. No person or group will be treated less favourably because of their race, sex, age or disability.
Any complaint relating to discrimination or harassment on the ground of race, sex, age, disability or any other issues will be treated very seriously and investigated by the Complaints Officer.
Housing and Support Solutions have a complaints procedure for the tenants. To obtain a copy please contact the Administration Department at the main office based at 427 Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes. Complaints will be logged for relevant agencies to inspect when necessary. Any allegations of abuse will be reported to the Vulnerable Adults Coordinator within the Local Authority.
Moving on. Although the project is usually happy to provide accommodation for as long as a tenant wishes to stay, it may be that his or her needs will change and therefore, future provision will need to be discussed. We will endeavour to find alternative accommodation, whenever possible, for individuals whose tenancy has been terminated.
Housing and Support Solutions maintain records and statistics on referrals, admissions and departures as required by the requisite statutory bodies.
