Responsible for Health and Safety, which includes risk assessments and risk management, policy procedures, updating and renewing working policies within the organisation, supervision of the management team, complaints investigation and quality monitoring through the use of the Quality Management Framework.

Dave has a National Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3 from North Lincs College (Lincoln) and worked for Lincolnshire County Council as Care Officer in a residential special school for boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties. He then became relief care officer for North East Lincs Child Care Department in various units
across the region but mainly at a respite unit for children with learning disabilities. Dave then took on the role of Care Officer for North East Lincs Council Learning Disability Services before becoming Senior Care Officer managing a range of services including residential unit, respite and community houses. During this time, Dave took a part time course at the University of Lincoln and successfully completed his Diploma in Social Work. In 2002, Dave set up Housing and Support Solutions Limited with Sandie Wilkinson, his co-director.
Sandie started her working life as a Nursing assistant in a psychiatric hospital in Lincoln, then went on to work with organisations such as NCH, St Matthews Trust and Lincolnshire Education Authority working with adults and young people with learning disabilities and older people in Residential homes. Also has
ten years experience in sales, working in banks, insurance companies and car dealerships along with general office experience. Before forming Housing and Support Solutions in 2002 with co-director David Whittock, Sandie worked for NCH in Lincoln supporting young people to access accommodation benefits, training and work placements.

Undertake administration tasks which include the preparation of information for management and quality assurance systems.
Responsible for the recruitment, appointment, training, development and supervision of staff.
Coordinate services with other professionals and agencies to facilitate the continued development of the tenants.Lead responsibility for the delivery of support with the complex needs presented by the tenants.

Qualified as a RNLD in 1984 at Calderdale School of Nursing, Steve worked in a hospital secure setting providing care for adults with mild learning disabilities. He then became Homeleader with Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Health Authority where he managed community housing for clients leaving hospital accommodation and relocating to
their area of origin within North Cornwall. Steve then took on the role of Community Nurse for the Grimsby Health Authority Community Team Learning Disability. He then became Nurse Manager for CTLD before moving on to become Nurse Manager in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Steve joined Housing and Support Solutions Ltd. as Support Manager in 2003.
Holding a Diploma in Counselling and City and Guilds 7407 (Parts 1 and 2) in teaching, Gina began working with people with learning disabilities in 1984 in a pioneering community care project in North East Lincolnshire. The aims were to support people with independent living within their community following many years in
long-term institutions.Gina worked for the local authority and The Grimsby Institute assisting people with disabilities to find employment and have facilitated “self-help” groups to raise confidence and self esteem. Both projects were very successful. Gina has further experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour in residential care settings. Also has co-ordinated a project to engage young people into vocational courses, who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.
Supporting Steve Colgan with the supervision of the staff team and tenants and involved in the support plans and reviewing procedures for each individual.
Maintaining the training and development for each member of staff and responsible for the annual appraisal system.
Mentor staff through their qualifications such as Safe Handling of Medication and NVQ training. Further responsibilities are to assist the tenants to find appropriate and fulfilling activities such as work experience placements, hobbies and active membership of local Advocacy groups.
Lara has been involved in social care work since her early 20's when after work experience with the NSPCC Child Protection Team in Lincoln in the late 1980's she decided to train as a social worker. Lara also spent time working for the organisation Community Service Volunteer CSV at a Probation Hostel. This was then followed by 4 years

at the University of Southampton on a combined degree and social work qualification course with placements in adult and childcare settings. Lara worked for Hampshire County Council for six years as a childcare, child protection and family placement social worker. In May 2000 she started working for Barnardo's and set up the Southampton Children's Rights Service in partnership with Southampton City Council. During this period Lara was the secretary on the committee of the national Children's Rights Workers' organisation CROA. In late 2003 Lara returned to live in Lincolnshire and worked as an Assistant Manager at a children's residential unit in the county as well as qualifying again as a Joint Interview trained social worker. Lara is currently acting support manager for the supported housing scheme based in Lincoln.
